Marga is Sanskrit for "path" or "way." The practice takes its name from a simple view: the way out of founder bottleneck is rarely another framework. It is a small number of clear decisions, made earlier, with someone who has sat in the seat.

Before my own ventures I was inside two Tier-1 consulting firms — Accenture and Aurecon — designing and running intrapreneurship programs, and leading teams that built the financial cases behind hundred-million-dollar capital decisions for iron-ore miners, energy majors, and industrial operators. $100M+ in savings modelled. $65M+ in fleet acquisitions signed. Eight MVPs shipped across six very different ICPs, from hi-vis mining field crews to board-room executives. Every one of those audiences had a different definition of "done".

Around 2024 I started asking the question every advisor should have to answer: would any of this ship if I had to do it myself? So I left consulting and started building. MedClear — Australia's first marketplace for verified medical certificates — is live. MVP Guru — launch-ready software in a week — is live. I am in the founder's seat on both, with all the cash-burning and runway-math that comes with it.

Marga Haus exists because I noticed two things in the same month. One, that most advisory pre-seed and seed founders can afford is written by people who have not shipped. Two, that the skill set I had built — diagnose bottlenecks, model the business case, ship the product, run the operating rhythm — is what a newly-funded founder actually needs.

So I do that work, fractionally, for a small number of founders a year.

I'm measured by what changed in the business, not how the slides looked. Every engagement ends with decisions made and acted on.

Evidence, not vibes

Good weeks end with three hard calls backed by data. Dialogue is free; decisions cost. The model tells us which calls are cheap.

Ship rough, ship Monday

A working prototype on Monday beats a polished plan in a fortnight. Every time. Reality talks back; frameworks do not.

Work myself out of a job

I'm there every month the capability transfer is still in progress — typically three to nine. When the team can run the rhythm without me, the retainer ends. Advisors who can't leave are selling dependence, not value.
